MODERN POOJA ROOM DESIGN

POOJA IS A SACRED PRACTICE PERFORMED ON DIFFERENT OCCASIONS TO WORSHIP, PRAY OR SHOW YOUR DUE RESPECT TO THE GOD. TO EXPLAIN BETTER, POOJA IS AN ACT OF SHOWING REVERENCE TO THE ALMIGHTY THROUGH INVOCATIONS, PRAYERS (LIKE MANTRA, SLOKAS) , SONGS, RITUALS AND SO ON. PRAISING THE GOD THROUGH  POOJA HELPS ESTABLISH A SPIRITUAL CONNECTION BETWEEN THE DEITY AND THE DEVOTEE.

POOJA ROOM OR PRAYER ROOM IS MUST BE ON THE MOST AUSPICIOUS AND SACRED ROOMS OF YOUR HOME. BUT THIS "MOST AUSPICIOUS AND SACRED"ROOM NEEDS BE AS PER RULES AND GUIDELINES OF VASTU SHASTRA. SINCE YOU WORSHIP, KEEP RELIGIOUS TEXTS, IDOLS AND IMAGES OF DEITY'S AND OTHER GODLY BELONGINGS IN THIS ROOM, HENCE YOU MUST PROTECT THIS ROOM FROM NEGATIVE ENERGIES.

DESIGNING POOJA ROOM IS ONE OF THE MOST RESPONSIBLE AND TRICKY ONE. THE POOJA ROOM SHOULD BE DESIGNED IN THE WAY THAT IT CREATES A HOLINESS TO SPACE. USUALLY, THE DIMENSION OF POOJA ROOM WILL BE WITHIN 5FT X 5FT AND SOME PREFERS GODS WALL ART AND SOME PREFER IDOLS.

IN THIS DESIGN I HAD KEPT A GANESHA IDOL AT THE TOP OF THE BASE CABINS. THE PURPOSE OF THE CABIN IS TO RAISE THE IDOL FROM THE GROUND LEVEL AND ALSO USED AS STORAGE SPACE. THE OIL LAMP BESIDES THE IDOL CREATE A TRADITIONAL LOOK AND WITH THE HANGING LIGHT IT CREATES MORE ILLUMINANCE.

BEHIND THE IDOL A RECTANGLE PLY WAS PLACED SO THAT THE LED CAN BE PLACED AT THE SIDES TO CREATE O LIGHT EFFECT.I ADDED THE WALL ART TO THE SIDE WALLS SO THAT IT ADD SOME SPIRITUAL TO THE POOJA ROOM
